Good for the price you pay. Pretty affordable options available. I went in on a Sunday for brunch, but their happy hours prices during weekdays looked super great and prices were amazing. Menu is pretty much all Tex Mex, the only thing I didn’t really like were the refried and charro beans, but besides that, delicious.
Delicious food. We got the calabacitas and puffy tacos with tofu. The corn tortillas are good. We got Victoria beer for an authentic Mexican experience. And a margarita for a Tex-Mex one. The chips and salsa was also good. The chips were light and fluffy. It’s nice to have a Tex-Mex place with vegan/vegetarian options. The waitress (Mary) was also very good (attentive, made sure the order was correct and good).
This is one of my favorite places to eat lunch or go to happy hour. The food is great and I have always had a great experience until Friday. My coworkers and I were sitting down enjoying our drinks and appetizers, we had just asked the waitress for our checks, a few minutes later the hostess comes over and asks if we were done because they had a reservation and needed our table to fill a larger party. I let her know that we were waiting to pay but that we still had our drinks to finish as the waitress had brought us our last round with the check. She then proceeded to tell us that we only had about 5-15min to finish because that’s when the larger party was set to arrive and they would need the table. She then sends a man to come start clearing our table. He literally started taking the chips and salsa and water that we were still consuming. I don’t think I have ever encountered this before. I had no words.
Pretty impressed with this place. Only draw back is it is pretty dark atmosphere inside. The waiter (Oscar) was super helpful and attentive. The chips and salsa are on point. The cocktails ( we had more than pictured
Fantastic tex-mex operation, great food, service and libations. I also like the patio. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. The atmosphere is a little loud for conversation, but overall, I would recommend and return. The addition of flowers in the margaritas was a nice extra touch that helped spark a festive attitude.
A reliable place to come before or after a show at Austin Film Society's theater. I actually prefer the patio over the dining room. They take reservations, which is nice. I've never had a bad experience here, but I've also never craved the food after a long time away.
This place is amazing. The staff is so caring and sweet. The food was soo good. The margaritas were top tier. We came here with our baby and they were so accommodating with us. The host even gave us a spoon for her just in case we wanted to feed her. The waitress was super nice and gave amazing recommendations. Overall an amazing experience
A group of us went for lunch during the week. The dining room was really dark, despite the large front windows. We ordered as soon as the server came by and then waited over 30 minutes for our food. The food was good but not very hot and on small plates that caused parts of your meal to over flow onto the table when you dig in. The best part was the price, which you can't really beat for that quality of food. I got the Emma lunch special which was only $9. The patio looked really nice so maybe try sitting outside and having a drink because the cocktails looked amazing!
Super cute and REALLY great jewel in Austin. A must go! The margs were on point and the puffy taco is a can’t miss! Service was outstanding and prices can’t be beat!!

The chips and salsa were really good. My two margaritas were decent. The platter was solid, and the queso was average.
